On Monday, we are planning to have another broncoscopy done by Dr. Quinlan. He wanted to take another look into Landon's airway to see if there have been more significant changes. Since Landon can make noises passed his trach (even without his pasy muir on), I'm thinking that things will be looking nice in there. It will be an outpatient procedure, so we should be home that same night. Landon shouldn't be in too much pain. He normally sleeps a little longer for the 24 hours after, but is his normal self the next day. We just give him Tylenol the day of the procedure, because they say it's like having a sore throat. Since Landon obviously can't have a cough drop or something, he'll have to settle for a dose of Tylenol. :)
I'll keep everyone posted on how everything goes. The procedure is supposed to start at 9am and it shouldn't last any more than an hour. Just keep us in your thoughts and prayers that day please. It still makes me a little nervous putting Landon under.
