March's extra pictures

I've been trying to post pictures every month of my cute little kiddos that don't necessarily go with anything.  I try to break out the camera every now and again so I can capture my little ones in their innocence before they turn into teenagers before my eyes.  I want to remember them small.  Here's the extra pictures I had from the month of March.

Landon made this policeman hat at school when they were learning about community service people.  He looked too cute not to take a picture. :)

Cute little Sydney looking for snacks. :) (BTW, she's wearing a sweater that I believe her Aunt Bridget wore when she was a baby.  It was made by Sydney's Great-grandmother.  It's super cute!)

I believe she was crying because Braydon took his phone away from her...either that or she's upset that her hair is a hot mess! ;)

Such a cute thing!  I love yellow on her....she can pull it off. :)

She looks so cute with little pig tails.  They start out all cute....

Then she realizes there is something in her hair.  It is her personal mission to get it out.

Then she ends up walking around like this....She's a mess!

Here's an adorable picture I took on Heidi's last day at the beginning of this month.  Both of us tried not to cry as hard as we could have.  She has been with us since Landon was 1 and has seen us through a lot!  She's been an amazing nurse and friend to Landon.  We've become good friends and probably always will be!  Thank you Heidi for everything you have done for Landon and our family. :)  <3

It's been a while....

Man!  I am a horrible blogger!!!  I apologize for being really bad about updating the blog this month.  It's been a whirl-wind of a month.  Since Landon is doing so well, we no longer have nurses except on Mondays when Theresa is here.  The rest of the week it's just me with the kids.  The nursing agency hasn't found a replacement for Heidi yet. :(  It's a good and a bad thing.  I've loved spending time with the kids, but have had to wait till after the kids are sleeping to get anything done, which takes away from my blogging time since I'm EXHAUSTED at the end of the day.  I know...I'm making excuses.

Well, here's to make up for it.  We went to the Omaha Children's Museum last week for their Carefree Kids.  This time we let both kids run freely.  Braydon took Landon and I took Sydney.  They were all over the place. It was so much fun for them and I love that it's not crowded so I don't have to worry about Landon getting trampled by other kids.  Landon told me his favorite part was the colorful doors...he loves doors right now.  I don't know why.  Enjoy the fun we had. :)

Sydney was ready to play!

Playing the light piano

My goofy boys after writing on the chalkboard car.  Landon wrote DADA all by himself. :)

Sydney and I had fun with the ball machine while Landon ran around.  She has a fascination with anything round and she calls is "baw" for ball. :)

Braydon played a mean trick on Landon.  These tubes blow out air and poor Landon couldn't reach the ball.  It was both cruel and funny. :)

Sydney played with this contraption for a little bit.  She figured out that you put the balls in and they would go up the tube and down the slides.

You can kind of see in this picture the balls falling.  There's a box above her that fills up with the balls from the machines around it.  When it gets so many balls in it, it will dump them in the middle of the floor.  Sydney didn't think it was as cool as I did. ;)

Braydon and Landon playing with the pins and needles board.

This is Braydon's hand print and Landon's inside of it.

Braydon, Landon and Sydney's handprints.  Syd's are on the left if you couldn't tell. ;)

Syd is mowing the grass with the pig and sheep

Water table time!  If I had to guess, I would say this was Sydney's favorite activity.  She loves the water anyways so this was right up her alley.

WWEEEEEE!!  Down the slide we go!

These are the doors that Landon loved.  He would go running in....

And run back out.  For a good while.  It kept him pretty entertained.

They have a pretend grocery store too.  Sydney had fun with this.  Landon didn't care about it at all.  He just played with the doors.  She had fun pushing the little cart and throwing stuff in.

This was her face every time she would throw something in the cart because it made a loud "BANG".

Sydney picking out some bread. :)

"Brother!  I found you some waffles!!"

Cute picture of Braydon and Syd.  If only I could get her to look at me and smile...

Crawling all over town. :)

Hopefully, I'll be getting my act together for April.  I'll try to be better about posting pictures.  I know you all want to see my beautiful children. ;)

Learning how to share...

Sydney is learning how to share her food.  She offers food to me from her highchair tray.  Now she doesn't care for a lot of her food to be broken up or cut up.  She wants the whole thing.  The other day I cut up an apple for her into slices.  I gave her a whole slice and she happily started gnawing on it.  Then she offered some to Braydon.  It was the cutest thing to watch!
